I prefer cotton gowns, but this one was at a great price. It is very comfortable and washes well. I did find this gown to run a little large. I sometimes wear a 2x but a 1x fit me well.

I bought this style nightgown before. I love the style. It's modest, and long, but not ugh hot. Its like a jersey material but because there are no sleeves you don't end up too hot but still comfortable and warm. I love these style of nightgowns!

I read all the reviews and purchased one size larger. The fit on the gown is wonderful. It is a soft jersey with a give to it and is not see-through which I love for lounging around the house. The gown and lace are very pretty. The issue is that the lace is stiff with no give and is sewn tightly where attached to body. That makes it hard to get into without opening buttons and very uncomfortable to sleep in as the lace can cut into you as you turn in bed. I have been using as loungwear and on occasion have slept in it with the top two or three buttons open to keep it from irritating my arms. If Romans would remake this with a band of elastic or spandex on the lace trim and straps, I would buy about 10 of them.

This is the 2nd one I have, I absolutely love them. So great to lounge in or whatever. Very comfortable and beautiful.

I get warm easily, so the extra length can make me too warm if the A/C isn't set low enough.

Love this gown. I'm 5'6 and this gown almost touches the floor. Only drawback: bought the black and of course it picks up all the lint and hair, what was I thinking? The grey one is neutral, much better

It was a very good looking garment, but I had to return it, because by the time I received it, I had lost a bunch of weight and it was too big. Maybe will order some other time.

My wife is very satisfied with your clothing catalog and on internet, but, she has one thing that really upsets her the most with your tops. She likes to dress up occasionally, expecially if we go out with friends, for dinner, etc. and she has no pretty sparkling tops, like for Christmas time, that's when she really gets upset. There's nothing to order for her size of 6X, and yes, we know that it is a big size. So, do you think you could start making some of those pretty tops for bigger women, instead of up to size 4X? What she really wants to do is cut some pictures out and mail them to you to see if these tops can or cannot be made to fit her. Can she do that? She's not the only one that feels this way, believe me.

What a shame this beautiful gown was tight in the chest area so I had to return it. The next size up would have been too big overall and too long. The cotton knit and details are lovely but the pattern did not fit my body style. Disappointed because otherwise it is really nice. And I am not BIG in the chest but rather it is my hips and lower body that hold my weight. Cannot recommend.
Oh, I did purchase the short version of this gown and I love it so not sure how that happened? I assume it was the short version?
