What Customers Love One customer points out that when she wears this bra there are no bulges, sags or excessive cleavage.
I took my 82 year old Mother shopping for new bras. The minute we got everything in place in the dressing room, she said, "Wow, this is soooo comfortable. Super smoothing and supportive. Shoulder straps are nice and wide and really do stay in place" I found them now at Woman Within. Now I can order them online!
This is absolutely the most comfortable bra I have ever put on. I love it so much that I came back and ordered three more - two more for me and one for my daughter. I have been looking for a bra that did not shape my breasts like "cones" "pancakes" "blobs". This bra gives you a natural shape and the straps do not move - the band does not twist or roll under. I can not say enough about how much I love it. I wish I would've met this bra 30 years ago!!! If you buy this bra and you do not like it then you need to wear a tube top! I'm so happy to have found this wonderful bra! Thank you and my breasts thank you!
My daughter does not live with me so some details are not for me to say. I did look for bras that would cover her but would also be modest under her T's and other clothing. Also important was the color. I chose nude or beige to conceal. Also important were comments in the reviews. They were most helpful.
This is the first bra I have bought in 20 yeas that wasn't an underwire and I am very pleased. The band was a bit snug at first, I could have gotten a size larger in the band but vanity I suppose. This is a great, comfortable, flattering bra.
As a very large-busted woman (46 F) with a big belly, I'm relegated to wirefree bras to avoid painful wire dig-in issues. Usually wirefree bras offer little support and lead to sagging, unless you pull the straps up as tight as they go. Not these! One of the most comfortable bras I've owned, and provide great support - one of my girlfriends even asked (quietly!) if I had lost weight and that I was looking "quite perky!" The cups are smooth in front so they don't show seams under shirts. The band is thick and substantial. My only complains is that the brand under the cups in front can fold up just a bit, and when it does I do sometimes end up with a little dig-in under one side. I think this will go away as I wear the bra in over time. All in all - comfy, supportive, awesome!
I LOVE COMFORTABLE CLOTHES AS WELL AS BRAS AND ETC THAT I WEAR.I SIMPLY LOVE THE WAY IT SNUGGLES TO MY CHEST AND BREAST TOO. I FIND THIS TO BE A GREAT MADE BRA AND I WOULD BUY IT OVER AGAIN AND AGAIN IT FITS MY NEEDS. THE ONLY DOWN FALL IS THE PRICE I FOUND IT TO BE EXPENSIVE. OTHER THEN THAT I WOULD STILL BUY IT AGAIN BUT WILL TRY TO FIND THIS BRA ON SALE.
For years I wore a different Playtex bra (can't recall the name) that was a true t-shirt bra in that it was very lightly padded which meant no nipple show through and plenty of support. This bra fits me much the same as the other but there is no padding an there's a lot of stretch. It's still great (3rd time wearing it today) but I'm not convinced it will hold up over time. Because the straps are so stretchy, I have to tighten them all the way. When I take the bra off at night, I hear a tiny ripping sound as I pull the straps around my elbow. Anyway, we'll see. It's fine for now and I'll avoid the frozen food section of the grocery store!
I've had to purchase new bras over the past two years due to weight gain, and I've tried different brands and styles and I always come back to the Playtex 18 hour bra. I have realized that this bra fits me better and launders better than any other bra I can buy.
I bought this bra to wear under t-shirts. It sounded like a perfect solution for back bulges. But not so. The bottom of the band is a tight fit and the back portion of the bra stretched out "with" the resulting bulges rather than smoothing them down. It will have to be an expensive sleep bra for me, because it sure does nothing to improve my going-out-in-public appearance.
