I ordered these pajamas a size larger becuse I like them to be larger. I'm glad I did because they did shrink a bit when I washed them for the first time. I did iron them because they were more wrinkled than I would have wanted to endure. Once ironed they became very soft - like you would expect from flannel. I am hoping that they will soften out the more I wear and wash them. I would advise turning them inside out to launder to minimize pilling and go lightly on the dryer.
I needed some pj's that were comfortable and easy to get on and off after my shoulder surgery. I was very surprised at how thick and plush the fabric was. They were definitely more than what I expected and I am very happy with them. They give me much needed modesty while staying with my daughter and son in law.
I buy all my pajama's from woman within! I love them. These pajama's I bought for my mother in law and she loves them too! She said, these pajama's are now her favorite pajama's. She said, she love they come in petite and the fit was perfect!
These shrunk so badly. I wore them the first time without washing, and they were too big, too long, and uncomfortable. I was pretty disappointed. I washed them in warm water and they shrunk so much that the pants fall above my ankle socks. The shirt sleeves are well above my wrists and it is tight across my chest. I ordered a size up.
I washed this according to label directions right out of the package, and it came out of the washing machine with a two-finger-sized hole in the shoulder where the seam had unraveled, and it was covered in "fuzzies." Disappointing for a brand-new, never-worn item. On the upside, it's a pretty print and comfortable.
They sure looked really nice when I first got them.It was not until after I washed them and dried them on low,you can see the difference.Shrank terrible, wrinkled quite a bit.Well,if I was hobbit they would fit quite nicely now.
I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my sister and it was a good thing I ordered a size bigger because when she washed it according to the garment label, it shrank a full size. She does wear the pajamas but it was disappointing to know it shrank so much.
I ordered a size larger than I wear. The pants were really big while the top was not. The sleeves are too short and the cuffs are too tight. They were on sale but they are not what I hoped they would be. It took awhile to get them and I hate to have to return things, especially when I have to pay for the return so I will keep them.
Love to lounge around at night in these pajamas. Very comfortable. The elastic waist is great. Hate when you have to tie and untie your pants. The one thing I have found is only partially dry these pajamas and then stretch the legs and arms out so they don't shrink.
I bought 2 of these pajama sets and I only washed them and wore them a couple of times and the both have so many holes in them now. They came apart near the seams. I tried to sew them by hand back together again as best as I could. I don’t know how long these will last. They’re not making them quality like they used to. I bought several pair by this company years ago and those pajamas are top quality. Not one single hole in them to date. These....these are garbage!
I was pleasantly surprised at how well they were made. I put them on and was overjoyed. I haven't had a set since being young. They were very comfortable. They do not ride up in bed either. Great for the cold winter. Non-paid comment.
I ordered one set of these last year and just about wore them out, so I got 2 more sets this year. I've fallen in love with flannel again and find it hard to take these off! (I work from home and they've become my winter uniform :) I highly recommend these for comfort and warmth. The pattern your order seems to determine the material "softness." They're ALL soft, but the "Red Sweaters" pattern is a somewhat stiffer material than the plaid set I received. The red ones may continue to soften in the wash. Bottom Line: Extremely comfortable and well made!
Comfortable PJs, especially since I ordered the next size up so that the sleeves feel long enough. I like the gray and white plaid pattern. These aren't super heavy, but they are winter weight, and with warm socks and a tee shirt under the top, I feel pretty toasty. I took some gray thread and a needle and "tacked down" the facing (I think that's what it's called) inside the top so that it lies flat without needing to be ironed down after a wash -- it would have been nice not to have to do that, but it didn't take long.
The only reason I marked comfortable is because someone else wrote to order a size larger because the fit was not true to size. The neckline is so wrinkled after washing that you have to iron your pajamas. I ordered these to wear after back surgery and they are just ok.
I love these PJ's I bought three pairs. they fit perfectly. I love the bright bold colors. they are just the right weight. I don't get too hot nor am I cold. the only problem with these flannel PJ's is they feel very stiff when I wear them. other wise I love them
Love these pj's. Bought 4 pairs (different colors and patterns). Haven't washed them yet; but, since tops fit perfectly, I'll wash them in warm water and dry on low heat. However, I'll wash and dry the bottoms on HIGH heat, as I HOPE they'll shrink, both in width AND length. I'm about 4'11", and petite bottoms are ALWAYS about 5" inches too long (usually too wide, too, but at least you don't trip on "too wide"). I just hate having to shorten them; besides, that's the last thing I need during the busy holidays, or ANY time, for that matter. If these are petites, maybe manufacturers need to produce a new line -- perhaps the "Mini-Petite." I'm sure thousands of other women have this problem, and I feel neglected! It took 'em years to give the full-figured woman a flattering selection in the fashion line; when will they give us shorter women a break and offer us a selection in a more appropriate length. I also believe that all two-piece items should be sold separately, since not everyone is perfectly built. Regarding these pj's, for example: the tops are perfect in all dimensions -- width, body length, and sleeve length, leading me to believe that anyone tall enough for the bottoms might find at least the sleeves too short (and probably SURELY so after washing).
