What Customers Love These robes wash wonderfully and the colors stay vibrant, customers tell us. An essential during winter or bath time, many customers buy more than one color!
Bought this for my elderly mother who is always cold. She has fallen in love with it. She wears it with her pajamas and her clothes. It has kangaroo pockets and a hood, so she can stay toasty all day. I got her the blue one, and she loves it because it is soft and warm. The only downside (which doesn't apply to her) is that you must never get the garment around an open flame.
I have this in the bathrobe and had to have it in the "bed" jacket although I typically wear it around the house when I am dressed and have a chill when dressed. I have even worn it out to run errands as it is cute and no one could tell it was not an actual jacket. I got the ivory. Perhaps the polar bears as I have on my bathrobe would have been questionable running errands in. This would be ideal to bring to the cold movie theatres too as a thought. Soft and plush with pockets. If you do not like the pom poms on the ties you can cut off and knot the ends. I wear a 2x as I like things a bit looser fitting and bought a 2x and it fit perfectly. I zip up and turn inside out to was and no issues. Dry on low for about 10 minutes and hang dry to keep it in best shape possible. I am 5'6 carry my weight in my stomach and this zipped up nicely and length is as if it was a casual jacket. (Like a denim jacket would be in length).
I wear this around the house during the day. It is very warm, but still light weight. Can't really figure it out, but it is very warming and we have had some very, very cold days and this jacket does the trick. I don't think I would wear it out, but sure outside around the yard is fine. So soft and very comfy, I just love it.
This hooded bed jacket is so amazingly soft, warm, and comfortable. In this freezing winter in Chicago, the hood makes all the difference. It fits very roomy, has pockets, a zipper, and a hood. Best buy ever!
I love this bed jacket. When I get home at night, I put my pj's on but get chilly later in the evening so I put on my bed jacket. I don't need the puffs on the hood strings but love the pockets. It is especially nice to add after a warm shower. I can put the hood up and let my hair dry underneath while keeping my head warm. Living in a cold winter climate, this will be used a lot. I have not washed it yet but expect it will do just fine.
I work at home in a room that is always colder than the rest of the house, and this is great for throwing on over PJs or clothes to wear at my desk. I love how soft it is, and I love the polar bear pattern. I don't consider it an outdoor jacket because of the chenille texture (which leaves open areas of mesh between the fluffy spots) and the pompoms, but it is fine for a walk or to run errands. I don't expect the pompoms to last, as I keep snagging them on things. I like the hood on extra-cold days. I indicated that it is true to size, but the sleeves are almost too short on me, even though the fit is roomy (I'm 5'8"). I'm OK with that because of using it mostly for indoor wear.
I love this jacket. It is practical because I don't sit on it while lounging, the ease of movement the jacket provides is why I always grab it when I settle in for the evening. It is easy to remove if I get too warm and I don't have to stand up to shift it around to get comfortable. The hood is good for extra warmth if needed, the zipper makes it easy to regulate temperature. The pockets are deep, the fit is roomy. I didn't like the pom poms but my cat did. I ended up cutting them off for him to play with, so that was a plus. The other cat loves to lounge on me when I wear this because it is that plush and soft. It's also warm, more than expected.
I wear a bed jacket instead of a robe. I ordered the blue which is absolutely perfect. The quality is excellent. I am so happy to see that Woman Within calls a Large or XL for what it is--not a 10-12 like some sizes run that are ridiculous.
This is SO soft! We're having unusually warm October weather here on the East coast, which I love, but I love this bed jacket and I'm really looking forward to wearing it once it gets cooler. Pair this with a tee shirt and those cute paisley-blue pajama bottoms from WW and it's pretty darn cute!
I haven't gotten the chance to use this yet as it's really not cold but I can't wait! I love the French blue color and it is sooooo soft! The only way to make it better would be to line it...and offer in more colors!
Putting this sweater/jacket on is like enveloping yourself in a stuffed animal. If you want snuggly warmth in a soft plush layer, this is the item for you. I chose the grey color with the darker grey polar bears, and it's a fun cute option. This is not even close to being an outside jacket, it is really meant as a house-coat type item, to be worn over pj's, etc. The hood is perfect, especially if you are experiencing head chill due to Alopecia. This sweater is worth the price. The only thing I would recommend is if you appreciate roomy lounge wear, get a size up, because this fits right on the mark.
I love to put this on over my PJ,s and cuddle up on the couch to watch TV. Or in the morning to read in bed. I gave it four stars because I feel they could lose the hoodie. Its a bed jacket, your wearing it inside a house. Who needs a hood on a bed jacket. and those little fuzzy balls are cute but a complete nuisance.
This was a gift for a woman who was in hospital . She loves it . It is warm , feels cozy , has pockets that she loves . The hood is great for after a bath or shower , keeps the body heat in . The fabric is soft , the jacket is well made . The sizing is spot on , and the zipper is so much easier to deal with than buttons .
Defining a winter coat for the weather is a matter of perception and your location. Winter temperatures here (in Atlanta) can get below freezing (less than 32 degrees, however this winter it is warmer than usual thus far.) I feel the coat is too light weight especially for temperatures below 32. I suggest that Roman's include in its description of coats what temperature the coat is best worn for the weather. I prefer my coat size to be slightly bigger than my regular size to allow for free movement and not feel confined. I exchanged my original purchase size for this purpose, and the return for the next larger size were both done very quickly and the customer service received over the phone for support was excellent.
I love this fun plush bed jacket. No need to order up a size as this is roomy enough to accommodate your pjs underneath. Great for a night of tv in a slightly chilly room where you don't want to don a bulky long robe or reading the paper in bed on a weekend morning. I really like the one I purchas d.
