I am a large busted woman (40H) and this does an excellent job in supporting me. There is no sagging, no digging of straps, no ride up or muffin tops. It is hard to find a bra in this size that does all of this. Also one of the few bras that the wires pushing through. Holds up well.
Bra was supposed to be a size 40 triple D , actual a size 36
If you're going to buy this bra, you need to go two sizes bigger.. Bella has the best bras but these are just not the right size and I had to give them away and now I need to wait so I can buy me some more just buying them 2 sizes bigger..
Love the bra, but it didn't fit. Then return was a hassel, was not able to return it online. Had to have a return label mailed out to me. I would recommend it to a friend, but make sure you have the right size.
This is my go-to bra. I wore them for years, then tried a different Bali bra for a few years, but I'm back to these now. They are so lightweight and so supportive. They don't just mash you down, as a minimizer. The straps are wider and padded which helps with shoulder grooves.
For many years this has been my "go-to" bra, always fitting well with full coverage and comfortable too.The minimizing feature worked nicely under clothing. In the past year, however, it seems this bra is being made differently. On my regular size, 36DDD, the strap has started slipping on the right side, and the center does not offer the flat divide between the breasts like it used to; if I bend over, the girls shift and it is awkward. I agree with the lady who said the bow is visible under shirts. I even tried ordering a cup size up, which made things worse. Why they would make a back with only 3 hooks on a G cup bra is beyond my comprehension. I am currently searching for a new go-to bra. Also if anyone knows of a smooth foam-type t-shirt bra that is made in a 36DDD please let me know! I also don't get why you cannot get those in a DDD cup.
I wish I could like this bra. The straps are the most comfortable I've ever worn and the support is outstanding. Unfortunately, the underwire goes up so high in the middle, it creates a tentpole effect with shirts. It's glaringly and embarrassingly visible, especially when wearing sweaters or other knits. Fix that problem, and I'd buy this bra.
Have bought this bra in the past. Switched to the Wacoal slimline minimizer...got this for under heavier clothing. Design is the same, material around the inserts is no longer satin/strong, they replaced it with (mesh/nylon) & it falls apart after washing. You end up with 2 breasts and two bumps that push through, which are not contained by the mesh (after it falls apart). This area of the bra (one closest to inner cleavage area) ruins the whole design.
It is stiff before washing, though the straps are nicely padded. Going back to Wacoal. Expensive but the bras last forever. *****Please, question? Anyone? Why, why, if you are a plus size store, (Fullbeauty/Onestop.com, etc..) do you only offer a few minimizers? Lillyette? They have some amazing cost friendly bras. Even Bali, the selection is so poor, and so many soft bras. I don't know many women who don't need underwire, yet the "plus" stores still carry a bigger selection of soft cup and old-fashioned pointy bras. Ask us, we can recommend what is new. No offense, but your brands (in bras) do not hold up to the competition. Please start carrying more brands Wacoal, Lilyette, Olga...so many great ones, with a huge variety. Thanks....
I have purchased several of these bras over the years and will always stick with Bali for great minimizers, they are made very durable and hold up to numerous washings. Even though no underwire is truly comfortable in my book, this bra at least doesn't poke through the fabric, the wires do come up a little farther in the front center than some, but it is necessary to minimize and gives really nice 'bend-over' security while keeping the girls covered...lol....
This seems like a good, sturdy bra with comfortable shoulder straps. The band is much, much tighter than other bras of the same size. In fact, the Leading Lady bra was far too big at the same size. Be aware of that.
I wish I could find a braw that was two different cup sizes, tell me one women in this world that that are the same size in both cups. I have tried many braws sent many back these so far have been the best.
