Purchased two of the dresses on offer good price so though I would take a chance. Pleasantly surprised that they fit so well, long enough to reach my ankles even at 5'9". Not so happy about the neckline think it would be more flattering a little lower and the one advertised as white turned out to be cream not a nice color but for the price worth keeping.
I got so many compliments I started to feel pretty.... I ordered 4 more! I am in a wheel chair, so dresses and skirts are easier for many reasons, this dresses up or down and feels amazingly feminine yet still comfortable.
I absolutely love this dress. I got it (the purply, burgundy and black dresss)to wear to a wedding with a black jacket I already have and it's perfect. I am dressing it up with black beaded jewelry and will wear it with black boots for an outside wedding. I am so excited that it is so perfect!
beautiful dress, color. wore with sweater I purchased for it/same as in ad. to the Fall opening of University where I work (am IT Staff). But can wear this nice dress anywhere, anytime for anything. Depends on what you dress with it - I never wear heals not good for my feet/legs. But many comments on what a beautiful dress/sweater outfit. Washes well/twisting gives it the wrinkles supposed to have and not putting thru dryer. Drip dry is best.
I have several of these dresses and love them. They are great for wearing in the Florida summer heat. They are comfortable and I have had numerous compliments on them. When not wearing or after washing I keep them very tightly twisted and tie the ends with large rubber bands. It helps them keep their shape longer. At times I have belts made of color matching ribbons with a snap closure that make them into empire waisted dresses. Will keep buying as any new patterns I like come out.
I'm part of the music ministries at our church so I have to look my best. I love these dresses. I have about 5 or 6 of them. I just add a belt and a shrug sweater and I'm off. They do run a little big so I always buy a size smaller. Very nice dresses!!
Arrived on Wednesday and I wore it out to a luncheon on Thursday. I happened to have a necklace that matched the colors like it was made for the dress...so that sure helped to complete the outfit. I did get compliments on both. All wanted to know which came first the dress or the necklace because they 'belonged' together. Still the dress was the eye catcher.
I now have five of these, three in designs from last year. I adore them, wear them all the time in the summer. I'm covered, feel cool and glamorous. I have to say, I actually prefer the cut and flexibility of the button front version of this (wouldn't wear this out without a jacket/accessories, if at all), but I haven't liked the pattern choices, as much as I like these.
This is perfect; you can wear it around the house or put on a belt and sandals and wear it out, its so versatile. The fabric is thin, so its very cool, its long, just above my ankles, [I'm 6'] I really like that there's no cleavage scare, the underarms fit right and the back is normal; no chance of a wardrobe failure with this dress!
Love this dress. This was a second purchase because the first was a little too large on me. Having not purchased dresses from Roaman's before I thought it was best to order a size larger. I was wrong. The new replacement dress fits perfectly and I have the larger size to my sister in another state so we don't show up with the same dress!
Outside of the fact that I always have to take about 8 inches off the bottom of these dresses because they are too long for my 5'2" height, they are the basis for many summertime occasions. They are cool, comfortable, and easy to wash, although they must hang to dry. If you add one of the hand-crocheted sweaters or a filmy Angelina button-front top, they can go from work to evening events. I wore one of these to my niece's rehearsal dinner and received many compliments. I hope Roamans never discontinues this style. It is very forgiving style.
I bought this to take on an extended trip as a "dressy" item for going out on the town. I chose it because it can be twisted up and takes little room in suitcase and shakes out looking gorgeous . So far very pleased with it.
OK, I travel a lot and "crinkle dresses" never need ironing. The material is very thin, you need a slip. That normally wouldn't be a problem, but I have a chihuahua that jumps. I cannot wear the dress near him, he has caused several holes. The hem has also come out in one of the dresses and I had to have it repaired by my seamstress. The long dresses are a bit too long for me, so I had 3 of them hemmed. Even with these problems I will probably buy more because of the ease when travelling, and the dog isn't with me then, lol.Never needs ironing!
