What Customers Love Customers who purchase our flannel gowns tell us they are the softest they have ever worn. They feel warm and cozy and last wash after wash.
I wear PJs in the cold season but decided i wanted a gown that stopped at the knees in flannel . So I ordered this one because it was cheaper than the rest. Its just OK because the material is a little stiff and i prefer soft but it was low in price and you get what you pay for. It does keep me warm because I had ordered a size up and can wear it over other clothing. . We are getting hit with an Acrtic blast that wants to hang around BBRRR!
This night gown is a very heavy cotton flannel. It came very stiff in the package. I had to wash a couple of times to soften. It did soften. If you're hot natured, you will get too hot wearing this. I had to get out of bed and change because i was too warm. In my opinion, It's very comfortable as a lounger and not a sleeper.
Good flannel gowns are hard to find, and these are good. The colors are unusual for nightwear (dark green and dark purple), but they look and feel wonderful when the cold weather outside seeps into the house.
I bought two of these in burgundy. I washed and dried them twice, in quie warm water, because I figured the dye might run. Well, today I noticed that the edge of the vanity in the bathroom is a strange red color and nothing -- including bleach -- will remove it. As I was puzzling over this, I wandered into the kitchen. The cream-colored tablecloth is red all along the edge where I sit -- I mean red at the table edge and on the part of the cloth that drops to the lap. Nothing will take it out. So this is some sort of magical dye: It won't stay in the cloth to which is was applied. It won't come out of anything else. HORRIBLE! I've had problems with dyed fabrics, but this is ghastly.
I was surprised at the weight of the flannel used in this nightgown. It is so cozy and warm and I am happy I took the chance and ordered two. I will be having surgery in a couple of months and thought these gowns might be more practical than pajamas, which I usually wear. I will probably buy more now that I know. They do leave a lot of lint in the dryer but that doesn't surprise me given the weight of the fabric. Years ago I made flannel night gowns that did the same thing. Pockets would be a nice feature to add if WW continues to offer this nightgown in the future.
I bought three of these gowns. The grey one is perfect and soft even before washing. The two colored ones have a much different finish. They are not as soft on the outside and feel like a different material than the grey. They are more stiff on the outside finish, must be from the colors coated on the material. I have kept them all and will use them but wish they were all as soft as the grey.
This nightgown is too bulky to sleep in. It's a really heavy flannel, much heavier than a flannel shirt. The design makes matters worse With the ruffles at the bottom. It Bunche s all up underneath you like you're sleeping With a blanket bunched up underneath you.
I am only 4'10" so finding gowns that do not drag the floor is a challenge for me. The "short" gowns that you offer are the perfect length for me. This one is unbelievably soft and so pretty. I am really enjoying it.
I bought this because I love flannel. Sometimes I go a day without taking it off so it's great for lounging, sleeping. I ordered a size up because flannel will shrink. Haven't washed it yet. Ordered another.
I am home-bound with mobility limitations. I am so pleased with this cotton flannel short nightgown. It is the first time EVER that I'm able to wear it without having had to shorten it. I will definitely be purchasing more of these.
The only thing I really like abt this is the color. It smelled horrible when I opened the pkg and even after washing, it was stiff. It doesn't feel like the other flannel nightgowns I've gotten from Woman Within. The fit is good.
This was a replacement for another gown I ordered that turned out to be very poor quality and not as pictured. VERY disappointed in this one! It is very thin - not flannel as advertised and is so stiff and scratchy that it is uncomfortable. Will probably donate this to a shelter. This is twice I have been disappointed in the quality of "flannel" gowns orders only weeks apart.
I was delighted with the workmanship on this traditionally-styled flannel nightgown. The fabric is soft and thick, and very cozy. I am pleased with my purchase. If you wear it before washing, it may feel a bit too big. But real cotton flannel will shrink just a little, so the size after washing will be correct.
