Runs small like typical shapewear, but worked well
I had a really hard time deciding what size to order due to the fact that shapewear tends to run small and how sometimes you want it to fit snug to hold everything in, etc. I wear a size 16, and usually order a size 14/16 from roamans and Jessica London. Most of my pants are size 15/16. I'm 5'4 and weigh 210 lbs, but I'm curvy in the hips and thighs and I wear a size 40C bra, a size 14/16 underwear from lane Bryant. So I wanted to leave a review and some of these details for other women wanting to buy this. I bought a size 3x. It was hard to put on, I pulled it on from the bottom up, but once it was on... it was nice. Like any other shapewear you have to work to get it on. It pulled in my belly really nicely, and made it nice and smooth and flat. I started putting it on and wanted to quit right away thinking that it was just too small, my mom helped me pull it up in the back, and again... once it was on, it was really nice. It was comfy and soft.
I broke a nail trying to get it on. Once on I experienced pain in my arms once the garment was removed the numbness went away. I order a larger size in anticipation of this being tight. After all it is meant to be slimming. When an article becomes painful there is something wrong.
I followed the sizing chart and ordered a 3X so it was not to snug a fit. The slip is so small that my niece (a size 10) had trouble getting it on. I am so mad. WW has a lot of nerve selling this product. Must send back. I'm going away and needed to quickly order from Spanx.
I ordered a medium which this website sized as a 16W. I am actually a 14W, but didn't want it too tight and I know they run small. I got the medium, and the medium on the actual package is for size 8-10. The sizing chart needs to be fixed ASAP.
this garment was purchased as a shaper to wear under a dress to my niece's wedding. I wear between a 1X-2X I ordered a 2X. I couldn't get it over more than one thigh! sizing is completely ridiculous. beware
Bought this in a 2X based on their measurements and there is no way it is a 2X. I can't even get it up even one of my legs. It was so small so I decided to try it on my 7 year old 40 pound daughter and it fit her snug with no stretch room. Thought it was sized wrong but after reading the other review it seems to be the way it is made. Now I have been fighting with Jessica London for 3 weeks just to be able to return it since so conveniently they did not send back a shipping label and they want me to be out more money shipping it back for something that they made incorrectly.
I bought the 3x in nude based on the measurements listed. Unfortunately, the only body part it got over was my head. I couldn't even get one arm through a strap. It didn't even come close to fitting. Thought they sent the wrong size but nope, it said 3x on the garment. It honestly looks like it wouldn't fit any plus size person. I understand it's meant to hold things in but if you can't even get it on what's the use? I have other items like this in 2x and 3x, they all fit.
I purchased this and another article by the same vendor - Julie France. Both items are entirely too small and in no way match the labeled size. Both items have to be sent back, which is a major inconvenience. Beware! These items are cut so small that a "3X" is equivalent to an actual size small.
