I've been eyeing this jacket for a long time waiting for a good price. Finally I got it with a percentage off and jumped on it. Absolutely adorable, comfortable and just right for California's mild winters. Love, love, love it!
I am a big, big, big fan of the Lightweight Fleece Jacket, and I own probably 8 or 9 of them in the different colors and styles offered in the past few years, the great common denominator being the lovely long length and super comfy fleece fabric.
I wasn't going to buy any more but I fell on love with the color navy blue so naturally had to buy one in that color. I really didn't think I would like the shirt tail style because it looks a bit short in the photo but thankfully it is nice and long.
I ordered a size up and it is huge, so I got my regular size and it fits perfectly. I don't recommend sizing up.
One thing I learned early on with this particular jacket is it requires a bit of care of you want it to last, so I wash in cold water on the gentle cycle and hang to dry. Otherwise, the shape kind of loses it's definition and the zipper goes a bit wavy.
All in all, if you get it on sale or use a coupon it's a great bargain for a very flattering look especially if you are tall like me.
Please keep these coming FB, they are a wardrobe staple and I wouldn't mind having even more colors!
I wear this with jackets and coats that are uninsulated for extra warmth, or in place of a sweater inside when I am feeling chilled. I liked how long it was until I washed in in cold water and a gentle, low heat dryer. It shrunk over 5 inches in length. For me every inch counts, since I wear tunic length tee shirts and tops in order to get adequate coverage over my G-cup girls. Very disappointing. I love the 2 way zipper, but find the pockets a bit oddly placed. The thin fabric is also disappointing. Why don't you offer anything that is truly warm for those of us that have sub-zero temeratures in Winter? We don't all live where 50 degrees F is supposedly cold!
I love this jacket but I would actually call it a hoodie or sweater. Its comfortable and looks nice. Sometimes I have found jackets in my size have too short of sleeves or sleeves that fit uncomfortable. I actually tend to look for a men's hoodie first because the sleeves fit a little better but the look of this drew me to it and I was very happy with the fit. I wouldn't say they are too long but if you have issues with women's hoodies or jackets having too short of sleeves then this might be a good choice for you.
Perfect as a jacket when it's cool outside, AND as an extra layer in the house at times when I'm a bit chilly. I bought one for myself before going to Connecticut for my much-loved Auntie's 90th Birthday. She made such a fuss about mine every time I put it on! She loved the cut, the color, the feel of the fabric and its warmth without weight. Thanks for giving me something I could give to this wonderful woman that would please her so!!
It looks ten times better than a regular sweat jacket, which is usually too short, not wide enough in the front. I order slightly bigger size, because don't like to wear tight clothes wanted enough room to cover my front and if I wanted to layer it inside with a sweater wouldn't feel tight. I just luv it, feels like you wrapped yourself with a cozy blanket. Going to order other colors as well in the future.
My lightweight fleece jacket has arrived, and as of yet, I am not disappointed. It fits well, is very comfortable, roomy but not ill-fitting. The hood is quite practical, as I live in Chicago, where climate change is a literal concept! :) I haven't washed my jacket yet, and I am hoping no pilling will result - this has happened in other garments I purchased in the past. This garment suits my everyday, errand running, schleeping kids to and fro duties, an in-between jacket that can be added with heavier layers to combat those bone chilling cold days in "The Windy." I love Chicago. Builds character.
