The first time I went to wear these boots the top right lace holder popped off so I had my husband put in a rivet and the next time i went to wear them another of the lace holders fell off as well. these are cheaply made.
Comfortview tends to run narrow in width...in particular, these so-called "all weather boots" perform poorly in rainy weather and whatever you do, dont step in puddles because water seeps into them quickly
I wore these once to work. Once! The metal piece that the shoelace goes through broke off, so I can only tie them part way on one boot. That's pretty bad for one-time wear. You can tell in the picture below they are still brand new. I have had no luck with customer service either in the past while ordering, so I am not even going to try. I'm done with Woman Within!
My 1st pair of boots IN YEARS! I live in Chicago and avoided boots for many years, wearing sturdy sneakers or use my daughter's boots if I would be out for a while. I saw these boots and liked the look and description. At delivery we had snow, a perfect tryout. Kept my feet warm and dry and looked great.
Hole inside sole. Water leaked in. Month and half of Use
Thought I had found a stylish solution to the rain of Seattle, but with less than 2 months of use the inner sole tore away from the bottom of the shoe, and with one step in a puddle my sock and foot were wet. Very disappointing, because they were comfortable and I got many compliments.
Finally a pair of warm, water resistant, and stylish boots that are wide enough. I ordered these in an 8WW and it gives me enough room to wear socks and still roomy enough. The padding around the top with the faux fur is very comfortable on the ankles and there is just enough cushion inside to make them comfortable to walk in. I highly recommend these boots.
I just hate when the materials are so cheap. (man made) They don't keep your feet warm, and the tie up to the shoe is odd and the tongue hangs out. I'm only going to wear these for work boots. I got them for a deal, so I won't worry about the waste of money too much. I think I must have not paid attention to the materials description.
They looked like they were a little scuffed up on the heels (almost as if they'd been previously worn). Then there was a bit of loose threading on the inside. The toe area was a little snug at first but worked out once I broke them in after a few minutes or so. Other than that, they're really nice boots and I like them.
I've always loved the look of patent leather shoes and this is my first pair that at least looks the part, though imitation of course. They are warm in cold weather but not so warm that they overheat my hot blooded body. They look great and feel very comfortable, which is important with my double wide feet.
These have a good traction sole suitable for icy weather. They are fully lined in fake fur and are very warm. I wear a WW in Comfortview, although I wear a wide in other shoes, and the WW's were wide enough for me. These are heavy duty snow and ice shoes suitable for a Chicago winter (in other words, deep winter).
I've been looking for wide width boots that are both cute and sturdy. I live in Wisconsin and I go from work to home on the bus. These will be perfect for waiting in the cold and walking home. The gunmetal are darker than pictured, more of a light grey
I purchased a black pair in size 11M. They fit quite comfortably. I've worn them in rainy and muddy enviroments and they have performed marvelously. My feet remained dry and warm. The patent does scuff rather easily. I was apprehensive after reading that the shoe lace holders broke on some buyers' boots. Nevertheless, I gave them a go. I am quite glad that I did. In fact, I'm about to purchase a 2nd pair. However, I must admit that I do exercise extra care when lacing, unlacing and drawing the shoe strings just in case. I can't speak to durability since I've only had them for approximately a month. I am hopeful that between the 2 pair that I will have these for at least several years especially since I don't wear them every day.
I have wide feet and sometimes it is advertised that the shoe is a WW, but feels more like a regular size. I also have to wear a heel lift and arch support and these boots felt great with all of that inside. I wore them all day and they were comfortable the whole time.
I bad read the reviews for these booties and decided to try them. I like the patent leather look with the vinyl ease. The treads will be a welcome change from my all-weather crocs which did not have much grip on the bottom. The eyeholes look like they will need a bit of extra care when lacing, though. That is why I did not give 5 stars.
I purchased these with the feeling that they would be too small width wise. My feet are quite wide - Triple E width! I usually cannot purchase shoes from the store. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived and I tried them on and they fit! Even with two pairs of socks! I think they are very stylish. They are very comfortable and warm. I look forward to wearing them this winter.
I have not had a chance to wear these yet as my trips to the mountains in the snow is over for the year in California. I really ordered them for next year. But they fit well and seem very comfortable and warm. I will not be using them for hiking but for just walking around in the snow or maybe rain. I am happy with this purchase.
